Women looking pretty pointlessly.

I like pretty ladies as much as anybody. But I realized I get turned off by short videos (like tiktok or FB reels) with girls just going through poses, looking pretty but not doing anything else. It's sexy when a woman is doing something, living normal life, and just happens to be pretty. But if she's going through poses like "look at me, I'm so fabulous," it feels kind of cringey. I'm not saying this to be mean, I don't feel any hostility towards them. Mostly I feel sorry for them, like damn if that's all you have going on in life, that seems a little sad and empty. It feel depressing and makes me click away instantly.

Anyway, I don't want to spread any negativity...everybody can do whatever they like, and that's totally fine, I wish them well.

But I'm posting this because I'm curious if anybody else had noticed feeling this way, or if it's just me.

Agree also. I would prefer to watch a preity woman buying her coffee then a fake pose or short fake clip.

Thank God for first world problems. :)

I see these pickme girls making that tiktok face and I never fail to wonder what their real mouth looks like when they aren’t doing that stupid lip pucker.

Duckface. It does look absolutely ridiculous and vacuous. I'm with the OP and other respondents, women are a lot hotter when they're fit but they don't know it.

Self-obsession is a turnoff.

Speaking of fabulous...

Years ago a buddy and I used to ride our motorcycles over to a little town on the other side of the mountains. Knew the road like the back of our hands. We had a favorite place to stop that had the best burgers in the state. There was a really pretty young woman who worked at the bar. Pretty enough that we'd have driven Priuses across the great plains to eat White Castle if it meant we'd get to talk with her. Well, she got to know us enough that we found out she'd done some modeling. NO surprise. We asked if we could take a couple of pictures on our bikes. She agreed. No costumes or bikinis or anything, just what she was wearing. No problem, fantastic idea, we're doing this. We walk out into the parking lot, she swings her leg over my bright red sportbike, we get out cameras ready.

She took a deep breath, looked down, and as she lifted her head to look at the camera, it was like a light switch had been flipped. Somehow she instantly went from "really pretty young woman who works in a bar we like" to "it's a sunny day but that smile is like a spotlight, where did my brains go byebyeholyshitnuts!"

A couple of other guys had tagged along, because I bet this girl had a fan club and they weren't stupid enough to sit at the bar while this was happening.

The visual impact of her going into 'modeling for the camera' mode was so severe, we all staggered back. Literally. A few of us shook our heads. It was absolutely amazing.

I guess it was pointless, because as far as I know neither my buddy nor I got to see or feel more of her, but still... Wow.

Fake is not fun. Scripted is boring. I'm right there with ya.

My husbands favorites are short gifs, clips and reels of pretty women flashing and showing off.
