Oh, I have nothing against my lineage, and lobster is a good way of saying it in the summer here, lol! I like my fair skin its different then everyone elses although, I sun burn in the summer. I have acutually had a man say to me once, that he liked the look of my skin it was like cream. I took it as a compliment. I find the fair skin to be attractive on women.

You really need to take a vacation here, nothing but ivory.
Oddly its not your skin that will set you apart but the tone of your voice. Us Irish have a soft spot for that American tone.

That has been a dream of mine many a year now. I wanted to travel and see Ireland. My tone of voice, american its so plain to me. I find the Irish accent is the one, I have a spot for myself. I love to hear it on the tv, I have watched many a show just to listen to there voices. Expecially when the men sing, the folk songs mmm... that is a favorite passtime to sit and listen. Perhaps one day soon I will get my chance to do so.

Trad meaning traditional irish folk music. Thanks for the meaning. I will look up Colin Meanys music then. As far as the fiscal state of Ireland, yes, I am aware of its struggles. I still would love to travel and visit there though. Its a lifes long dream of mine.

Sorry my bad the actor Colm Meany or Chief Miles O'Brien from star trek for what we actually sound like rather than "Far And Away" or "The Quiet Man"
If you want pure Irish look for the Furys, The Dubliners or Aslan

Ooh, I liked the music, just linked on your sites you put up. I will have to listen to more and check them out later on. I do know the actor Colm Meany from star trek. No I never liked far and away or the quiet man, not to my tastes. Pure Irish is better for the music and accent in their voices. Thanks for the links and just being friendly and open with me today, it has made me smile!

Never listened to either so, I will check them out myself to be the judge on that one. Glad to have met you as well.

I am the same. Irish on my mothers side but born in America. I hope its enough. I have fair skin and freckles scattered as you do.

Welcome to the halfies club! :)
I get my half from my Father. I have the same problems with the tanning, I can usually manage some sort of a tan, but I have to take it slow and I usually always burn at first, but it seems to cause more freckles...so I guess I will just be white and creamy! :D
