Hey ya'll. i'm looking to go tanning at a salon but I dont know what to expect. I'm just wondering what I should do and that kind of things to get a good tan and not look like an idoit when I walk in there. Thanks ya'all

Lots of people are in your position, so I don't think there's much cause to be anxious or feel foolish. When I've tanned or considered it, the front desk people have always been very knowledgeable, and n00b- and question-friendly. The procedure's going to depend on the bed/booth and your skin, so your best bet is to call a few places, then go in to talk to the staff and see which is the best fit for you. They'll tell you all you need to know. :)

You might want to take a look at some of the stuff online if you haven't already:
http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/health/indootan.htm (this is good...the industry's notorious for misinformation)

Thanks, I've seen the first link cause the place I'm going has it posted on their site.
