So, I don't know. Maybe somebody could write the ultimate M/M romance for the category and prove me wrong, but I've been writing and reading here for nearly twenty years, and it's certainly never happened that I've seen.

I've seen M/M in IT, the story is well enough rated and the comments seem tame. That being what it is, you would be hard pressed to find a respectful depiction of male homosexuallity outside of the GM section of Lit. It is perfectly acceptable for a male to become the submissive sissy slut of another male, even a relative, but not for two men to kiss passionately/romantically. It is a weird unspoken rule of Lit that the bottom has to be a bitch. Just like a Trans character has to be a shemale. I'm sure there are examples that can counter my argument, but not enough to disprove it.
