I've often heard that "all's fair in love and war", and though I don't completely agree with it, I do think there is a certain truth to it. Maybe we believe we have certain rights for giving ourselves and our trust, that justify our actions when love goes all haywire....and so I was thinking about the little things we do to maybe get our "significant others" attention when they've done us wrong, or to just shake them up...or even to maybe "test" them. I'm reminded of romantic comedies, and the funnier stuff I see in movies, and the things I read on message boards between friends when they give advice about what to do in "affairs of the heart". Remember the movie "The first wives club"? That was pretty funny stuff....and pretty common behavior, too. Do you ever do anything like this? What did you do, and what happened as a result?
I'm not talking about "I hate them" stuff, but things you did without stopping to think too much, when you were just caught up in thinking "its time they did a little suffering". (ie: trying to make them jealous, etc...)

if I really, truly, love someone, I skip the games.

No trying to make him jealous.

No you'd do it if you loved me ultimatums.

No idle I'm leaving you threats.

To my way of thinking, if it's really, truly love, it's too precious to fuck around with.

I agree completely, but I'm not talking about that. I mean when they've done something stupid, like......leave you.:) Things like being thoughtless repeatedly taking you for granted, cheating, just the usual relationship bumps and bruises...but mostly, when the relationship is supposedly "over".

Snake talk.

OK...another example. The movie "Something to talk about", with Julia Roberts, when she poisons her cheating husband?:D
OKOK...he didn't die or anything...

Well hell! Whats with all the PM's asking me whats going on, and why did I start this thread?
I thought it could be a funny thread...I saw the movie "something to talk about" and it cracked me up and reminded me of the time I drove my car in a trench, and well...never mind. Sorry for the attempt.

I've never found it to be possible either fox.

It makes for a funny movie Intrigued, but do people really play those games?

Ouch Lance, good morning ;)

Love.....

Demands that you hold the other, but not too tight!
As short as our little dance in the sun is, why waste time hurting another when it could be the last thing you say/do to them? Even when I was the most disappointed by what a GF said/did toward the relationship, we both ended up laughing, even a wife that cheated on me. (I still smile when we talk on the phone) :D :rose:

Good moning Blue!

Good morning, Miss I.

Love is a funny thing. It grabs you in all sorts of ways and makes you do all sorts of things.

A quote I read a while back comes to my mind:

What is done out of love always takes place beyond good and evil.

--NIETZSCHE

Does making up stories about sexual attacks count, Intrigued?

Hmm, maybe you could freak them out by talking about how you listen to your son jacking off in the shower?

That would be enough to scare the fuck outta them and make them glad to be gone.

It's likely a funny theme for a movie, but I sat here thinking about my past and there was not much funny, or even interesting to any outsider regarding what took place. I wish I had a writer during those times to spice things up a bit :)

And Lance, for once you are correct, I do know what I'm in for

Ya know, I don't mess with anyone here. I don't troll, I don't try to hurt people, I come here to goof off and enjoy what little good there is left here. But I can no longer be here without the constant trolling, and certain someones following me around like little lost puppies. And no, its just not worth it anymore. I was hoping for adult interaction with ADULTS, but the children keep popping in, jumping up and down, waving their arms frantically.

Blue...I don't have the answers, thats why I asked.
No, I don't do a heck of alot other than feel like I'm going to die, but I have done some pretty damn funny stuff well after the fact, or in the midst of determining just what is what, just because I am a clown by nature. I think the best you can do to make a point or get over it is to accept it, live well, and look good doing it.
Nope, no "ouch".

4later...thanks for "getting" what this thread was about...humor. :)

Happy New Year, Literotica.

Oh boo fucking hoo. You're leaving AGAIN? how many times have you "left" in the last few months? But you never leave.

You go to another forum and wait a bit and then come back, all teeth grindingly sweet and phony.

Bottom line: You are an attention junkie and need to pour out all your trials and tribulations for sympathy.

Let's see how long it takes for you to resurface this time. Again.

I hope I didn't get under your skin Intrigued. I didn't mean that. I just had a reaction to your topic.

Happy New Year, Literotica.

Would this be an example of one of your cute, funny, romantic comedy "games"?

Is it a "test" to see if we care about you?

Fabulous stuff!

Hahahahahaha!

Snake. Fake.
