I've often heard that "all's fair in love and war", and though I don't completely agree with it, I do think there is a certain truth to it. Maybe we believe we have certain rights for giving ourselves and our trust, that justify our actions when love goes all haywire....and so I was thinking about the little things we do to maybe get our "significant others" attention when they've done us wrong, or to just shake them up...or even to maybe "test" them. I'm reminded of romantic comedies, and the funnier stuff I see in movies, and the things I read on message boards between friends when they give advice about what to do in "affairs of the heart". Remember the movie "The first wives club"? That was pretty funny stuff....and pretty common behavior, too. Do you ever do anything like this? What did you do, and what happened as a result?
I'm not talking about "I hate them" stuff, but things you did without stopping to think too much, when you were just caught up in thinking "its time they did a little suffering". (ie: trying to make them jealous, etc...)
