In 50-60 Years, Will The Elderly Be Wearing Baggy Jeans & T-Shirts?

I'm sure you won't believe this, but I was just showering and wondering virtually the same thing.

Nuh uh. I thought of this thread while I was in the shower moments ago.

That's eerie.

I was thinking about that kind of thing the other day... when I'm old will i still be fashionable...?

I think I'll jsut wear some really sharp suits... whatever is fashionable at the time. Can't go wrong with suits :D

either that or when they start dressing in jeans and t-shirts... the younger generations will bring back polyester and rayon. ;)

Man, there are some spooky hive mind vibes going on here.

You can't be serious.

Is it true what they say? Do we all have a twin?

*humming identical cousins*

lol!

I have neighbors who are 70+, and their wardrobe seems to consist of the type of clothes that were fashionable when they were 25-40 years old. Will I be wearing Frankie B's, t-shirts, and hoodies when I'm 70?

Probably, but it all depends on what they're selling, too. When we're in our dotage, we'll still be a pretty big market. My grandfather wore bell-bottoms in the seventies, but he always had a new straw boater--circa 1925--for dress up.

By the end of the century everyone in the nursing home will be named Brandy, Tiffany, and Dylan, and all the trendy parents will be naming their kids Edgar and Dorothy.

I think T-shirts have become pretty well institutionalized as everyday wear, even among the grandparent set. Check out Wal-Mart sometime.
