Silly Jack, totally uninformed on the subject. Friggin' pitiful. Today you had another yard of your asse ripped off by the defense team.![]()
And yet you don't produce a single word of evidence to prove he's wrong.
He's probably still holding out hope that they'll find something on the Bidens.
John Kelly, a former chief of staff to President Donald Trump, told a crowd in Sarasota, Florida on Tuesday that he believes former national security adviser John Bolton’s claim that Trump directly linked releasing military aid to Ukraine with launching investigations into former Vice President Joe Biden.
“If John Bolton says that in the book I believe John Bolton,” Kelly said, and then added that “every single time I was with [Bolton]… he always gave the president the unvarnished truth.”
Kelly also said that it was important for the Senate to hear from witnesses so American voters could get the full picture of what happened with Trump’s purportedly “perfect” Ukraine call.
A new report from Vanity Fair’s Gabriel Sherman sheds some more light on former national security adviser John Bolton’s decision to blow up President Donald Trump’s top defense against impeachment.
According to Sherman’s sources, Bolton has told Republican donors that he believes Trump is “mentally unstable” and worries that the president could pull the United States completely out of NATO if he wins a second term.
A source close to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo says that America’s top diplomat may even get into the action as a character witness against Bolton.
“Pompeo and Bolton were at war with each other during the administration,” the source explained. “Pompeo thought that Bolton was constantly trying to undercut him and the president.”
Nonetheless, Bolton’s revelation has made it all but certain that the Senate will call him to testify at the president’s impeachment trial.
“[Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is] resigned to the fact there will be witnesses,” one Republican tells Sherman.
Should former National Security Adviser John Bolton testify in President Donald Trump’s Senate impeachment trial? This question has loomed over the entire proceedings, given Bolton’s key role in the events in question, but it garnered heightened urgency when a report broke recently in the New York Times revealing that the ex-Trump aide would likely confirm the core of the Democrats’ case against the president.

It still seems Republicans may succeed in quashing any demands for witnesses like Bolton. But as Trump and his attorney responded to the release of Bolton bombshell, they actually strengthened the case for having him testify rather than weakening it. Even if the GOP successfully brings the trial to a swift close, their having accidentally strengthened the case for witnesses may hurt the legitimacy of the Senate’s proceedings and undermined Trump’s inevitable claims of exoneration.
For analysis MSNBC’s Chris Matthews interviewed form Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele.
“Right now Bolton is two things, one, he’s annoyed as hell because of how the president is sort of coming at him,” Steele explained.
“More importantly, men and women that he’s been in the trenches with for over 30 years here in Washington, now taking Trump’s side over his and so he’s ready to chomp at the bit and he has something to say,” he concluded.
3:00: Next question from Brian Schatz and Dianne Feinstein to the House managers, and it is, if Trump was committing NOT CRIME or did not have criminal intent, would there be evidence of that, and did Trump's lawyers present any evidence like that, LOL just kidding, we know they did not.
Jason Crow says yes, you'd think maybe SOMEBODY would say Trump was committing NOT CRIME, but none of his people said that. John Bolton has thoughts about it!
3:03: Next question is from Lindsey Graham and it is how is Donald Trump so awesome at golf and so sexxxxy at the same time
Haha just kidding, his question is if Barack Obama had evidence that Mitt Romney's son had done bad corruptions in a foreign country, would Barack Obama have the authority to ask the foreign country to investigate that.
Adam Schiff says Graham's hypothetical is dumb as fuck, but says sure, let's pretend it's not. If Obama had asked a foreign leader to target his political opponent, IT WOULD BE BAD, YOU DUMB AS FUCK IDIOT.
SCHIFF: Are we really having this conversation right now? Are you goddamn kidding me?
3:08: SCHIFF: It's REALLY gross also too because there is literally no merit to Trump's Kremlin conspiracy theories about the Bidens. Also remember how he didn't even care about an actual investigation, just wanted the announcement? Yeah that.
Conservative Washington Examiner columnist Quin Hillyer has issued a dire warning for Republicans: Call witnesses at President Donald Trump’s impeachment trial or risk getting slaughtered in the 2020 election.
“Senate Republicans are digging their own graves,” he writes at the start of his latest column. “If Republicans do not allow at least a few witnesses into the Senate impeachment trial, they will pay a heavy political price if evidence emerges later proving deep corruption by President Trump.”
Fox News legal analyst Andrew Napolitano has penned a scorching new op-ed warning Republican Senators that they will be derelict in their constitutional duties if they acquit President Donald Trump without calling any witnesses.
In his column, Napolitano argues the president’s legal team has been spouting utterly bogus legal theories about how the impeachment process is supposed to work as a way to deflect from the fact that the president has engaged in unprecedented obstruction of Congress.
“If the Senate is faithful to the Constitution, then Trump’s trial will be a search for the truth,” he concludes. “And those offering to tell the truth should be welcomed, not pilloried. How can the Senate be faithful to the Constitution if it suppresses the truth?”
‘I want to be elected. I think I’m a great president.
I think I’m the greatest president there ever was.
And if I’m not elected, the national interest
will suffer greatly,’ ” Dershowitz said.
“That cannot be an impeachable offense.”
President Donald Trump’s Justice Department appeared in court Thursday as part of the Houses’ ongoing attempt to enforce subpoenas for information they’ve sought in other cases.
“Schiff stunned the room just now when he informed senators that JUST TODAY, as Trump’s lawyers argue in the Senate the House should’ve gone to court to enforce subpoenas, DOJ lawyers argued in COURT that judges have no place to enforce subpoenas because of the impeachment power,” Crooked Media Brian Beutler.
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) just pointed out another conflicting argument that President Donald Trump’s lawyers made that takes down their own arguments.
Pat Philbin told the Senate that there was no foreign policy being carried out by a private citizen, specifically speaking to Rudy Giuliani, who was in Ukraine working to get information for the president. Giuliani even went so far as to send a letter to then newly elected Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky, saying he was acting on behalf of, and with the authorization of, the U.S. president.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) “went there,” as law professor Jennifer Taub said on Twitter.
During Thursday evening of the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump, Warren asked whether the Chief Justice of Supreme Court has lost credibility because he’s participating in a sham impeachment trial.

.@ewarren tosses a verbal grenade into #ImpeachmentTrial by submitting question for #ChiefJusticeRoberts to read out loud: does trial presided over by Chief Justice without witnesses further undermine public confidence in institutions like the Supreme Courts (awkward)
Senate scumbags prevail. No Witnesses and no documents allowed!
