I have purposely stayed away form that game based on how addictive I have heard it can be. I have friends that spend large amounts of money on the expansion packs. I still feel you panin though......I have a PS2 and miss out on good sleep some nights trying to best some level or solve a puzzle or beat some boss.....help.....I need help...

By the by....coke is the absolute most evil thing ever made.....I am completely addicted to it. Try it with a wedge of lime/lemon squeezed in it...makes it even tastier.

its not the hot date expansion pack (i'm downloading that right now though).. its just the plain old Sims.. no expansion pack included in it. i managed to download it sometime ago..

grrr... i really need to get some studying done.. but i cant tear myself away long enough

I too feel your pain. I was once terribly addicted to SimCity. Once I stayed up all night playing it - all night - the sun was coming up and I hadn't slept and it was a work day! That's when I knew I needed help. lol

Not to mention all of the skins, objects and patches we've installed, made, found, downloaded and had made for us. LOL. My cousin uses half of the eight neighborhoods, and I use the other half.

I think I have 10 CD's burnt with sims downloaded files from the old computer that we haven't even put into this one yet. Plus over 30 websites my cousin bookmarked for object/skin downloads.

It takes too long

My sims always take 45 min showers and 10min to use the bathroom just to pee. I always had trouble fitting in a whole day of stuff to do, so I got pissed off and stopped playing the game. If you can give me some advice on this maybe I will get back into it!

Right now I have Sim's Theme Park. (I got it last Christmas.) My addiction to it goes in spurts. I'll play it every day (for hours) for a few weeks in a row and then I won't touch it for maybe a month.

This Christmas I am getting The Sims (which is the one I think you're talking about). I've played it in the stores and cannot wait to really get my hands on it! Yet another addiction coming my way! lol
