Man, I was hoping that by being the first to post you'd do something hot for me or to me... my loss.

We have a medium sized hot water heater. Enough for 2 people to shower before the hot water goes bye bye !!

Actually, when I was in college, I lived in a house with 6 or 7 other guys. One of them was more of a morning person than the rest of us and he wanted to turn DOWN the thermostat on the hot water heater because he thought the water got too hot and it would save us some money.

Needless to say, those of us who weren't regularly the first 3 to take a shower didn't stand for that...

Our water heater doesn't make it through one full shower, so yes, I'm always first. Everybody else can wait until there is hot water again. Of course, everybody else sleeps in minimum of three hours longer than I.

I am on a break! woo hoo. I hate 24hr shifts. But about the hot water, since i work in a hospital there always seems to be hot water for me. But now i wonder if some hobo in the ER is suffering b/c he had to get the cold hose down instead of warm! ahhh the benifits of being an intern.
