I have.........

I have just won the Euro Millions lottery! Sorry? One matching number isn't enough? Phooey! :(

I have too much to do and not enough time to do it.

So ... that's why I'm procrastinating by perusing Lit. ;)

Ditto; if I procrastinate long enough, I won't have to worry about doing crap I don't want to do in the first place...:D

A dripping joint? Oh my! ;)

Let's be glad it wasn't something else dripping!

Oh poor HP, I hope the pipework is fixed soon.

I have written half a new chapter - my third in two weeks, and I have cleaned the bathroom and I have poured caustic soda down the blocked drain (although I am not sure it's worked) and I have given two extensions to anxious students behind on their work.
:nana:

And now I have used a dancing banana! Gosh, it's been a while since I put a dancing banana in anywhere ;).

I [am going to] have a crisp sandwich and chocolate for lunch , go to the butchers and flirt ... I mean buy some steak and sausages :) and go down the wifi cafe for an amaretto latte. (Amaretto flavoured, unfortunately. They think I am a Mom not a MILF in there, I mean they probably think I am a MILF but they don't say it, just the Irish one used to come and look in my eyes and sigh when he served my coffee. So anyway anyway, the one time I asked for an actual Amaretto in my coffee, they thought it was a mistake in the order and gave me the flavoured syrup :( ).

OMG, Major MILF achievement! John, you will be so proud of what I have done this evening!

Piglet and I were just enjoying a quiet game of Nine Men's Morris, when we noticed the cat paying intense interest in the tiny gap behind the tv. We went to inspect the tangle of wires in there, and sure enough, the cats had brought in one of the pore li'l frogs from the garden, whom they insist on regarding as party animals in spite of the frogs clearly only wanting to spend a quiet night at the pond.

Well, dahlinks! you try catching hold of a li'l frog in among a tangle of wires which Someone appears to regard as the only way to plug in a vast array of audio-visual equipment. A large bass box and some of the wiring and a rack of newspapers and magazines had to be got out the way first.

So, I have managed to unplug and then successfully plug back in again, both the X Box and the Wii! All on my own!

Gosh, phew, ugh. I think that deserves a snifter. I am going to have a wee dram of my single cask whisky after that.

I have just watched a restored version of Buster Keaton's The General.

The special effects were amazing for the era, even if some of them weren't special - it was just that extras were far cheaper then than now.
