I sure did. Only recently began to get a sense for what was going on. I never read any of those stories, so I remained in ignorance.
Ignorance is bliss. The few good stories and authors and readers there are hanging by a thread and its not worth dealing with the filth that makes up the majority of what's there these days.
It's been a problem with the category since the beginning. If you look at the earliest LW stories that the search engine has indexed, you'll find the swinging, sharing, and swapping stories advertised in its description. But you'll also see hard cuckolding stories, unapologetic cheating spouses, literal loving wives (in the sense you expected), revenge stories and more.
Having been raised in the inner city I object to you insulting the hood by comparing it to that putrid quagmire of incel vomit.
I don't want to take the time to research that category, but maybe you could just tell me what constitutes "filth" in a site dedicated to erotica?
If you read the description, it's supposed to be that and what you said- of course it's also one of the open sections because the genre is rather broad. The way it's handled, however is more ironic, the term Loving Wives has become an oxymoron.
LC thinks anytime anything bad happens to a fictional woman, if it might in any way make a person happy, it’s filth.
Have you seen any of the threads about it? The filth is the profliferation of Burn The Bitch stories where any time the wife does not wife shit, she pays for it, or she must be a Stepford wife. The husband has to be a mans man, not some simp soy boy.

You hit the keyword on 'erotica'...in LW its seen as erotic to have women who cheated to be tortured, beaten, raped, sold into trafficking, hooked on drugs, jailed, gang banged, etc....and also for the 'other man" to endure similar torture and abuse. That's what passes for 'erotic' to the nastiest faction there.
If bad things happening people(short of murderers rapists etc) makes you happy, then the shoe fits. Especially when its on an erotica site and not just a flat out work of fiction.
Ignore pretty much everything LC said. LW has been a quasi-erotic section for a while now, similar to SF/F, Novels, and (amusingly) Erotic Horror. Physical violence against women is not widely applauded there, although their affair partners are more often considered fair game. The stories where something truly awful happens to a cheating wife in the stories are few and far between; more often, a simple divorce that she doesn’t want, with fair distribution of assets is the most likely outcome.

And you keep saying it’s a dedicated erotic section of the site even as you say there are other ones that are quasi-erotic. The only difference between the ones you deem quasi-erotic and LW is that you, personally, don’t want to categorize it that way or 90% of your arguments fall apart.
