The good news is I have a job. Just started training today and things seemed to go well.

The bad news is I need to go to the doctor. My ex called me and said that she might have hepatitis. So I'm really depressed.

That's all from me tonight, folks... I'm going to try and sleep. I'll let y'all know more when I do.

Wishing you the best.
Hope things turn out ok. :rose:

Congrats on the job.:)

Think positive. Maybe she doesn't have it and both of you will be fine.

Take care of yourself. Keep us posted.

Congrats.

Hepatitis can be treated.

Relax.

Congrats on the job.

As to hepatitis, even if one has it, one can still live a normal life. It is not a cripling disease.

Thanks all...

As of this post (11 am CDT) we think we have discovered why my ex is ill.

Over the past two weeks, she has been in pain from mental overexertion (the whole psychosomatic thing) and because of it, she was taking Propacet (generic for Darvocet) twice a day. On top of that, she was also taking 3 Tylenol every 4 to 5 hours.

In short, she overmedicated herself, plus she double-dosed herself. The effects of that didn't show up until a few days ago. One of the side effects of Propacet is that overuse can cause the liver to shut down. When that happens, the body refuses to keep food, the skin, eyes, and teeth take on a yellowish hue, and fatigue sets in.

She just called me and told me that it was the best possibility.

Thank goodness, because I don't like to do bloodwork.

Hepatitis A, sure...but not Hepatitis B or C.

For B & C, normal life is agonizing and miserable...and shortened.

You might want to take another look at Hepatitis C.

My brother finished his treatments the first of this year and is doing fine.

The treatments like to have killed him. Now his liver is fine.

But he was miserable and troubled by pain right?

I honestly didn't know that Hep C was treatable.

The chemotherapy he underwent aged him i'd guess, about ten years. He would get a shot every three days.

The first day he would be ok, the second day he stayed in bed pretty much. The third day he would be almost ok again.

Now, my brother is one tuff fucker, he was told that he would not be able to work at all during the year he was being treated after about the first three months.

When he could he did and no bitching about life or complaining about his fate.

When he was finished with his treatments he looked bad! One month later he looked like a new man.

He said that the doctor said that this treatment kills some people.
