that go to the store with me.

Why do men insist on getting what THEY want, and fuck whatever YOU want? I vow to never ever again go to the store with a man! They are to slow, they're worse than any woman I have ever seen going shopping. When I go shopping, I go in, get what I came for and leave. I can't stand browsing up and down each aisle, looking really fucking stupid trying to decide weather to get plain or bar-b-que chips. Who in the hell cares?! Just pick one and lets go!!!

Sorry to burden you all with this, but I just needed to vent a little. Does anyone have this problem going to the store with someone else? (or is it just me?)

Nope its my mother thats the annoying one at the grocery store!! Everything must be a specific name brand that is unless she has a coupon for another brand and then you have to figure out of the coupon will make that brand cheaper than the regular brand she buys!! Ack im so glad i moved out it takes me 20 minutes to go my grocery shopping i love it!!

I was just there for the past 3 hours! I had what I needed in about 10 minutes, the rest of the time was him nitpicking.

My dad is the one who takes forever at the store, no matter if it is groceries, hardware or clothes. He is an engineer & has to think everything out. Of course, the upside to this is he gets great bargains, is a wonderful negotiater & saves a ton of money that he ends up spending on the grandkids. I am a power shopper, make a list, in & out of the store in under 30 minutes. My fiancee takes his time, mainly because he never makes a list & forgets half the stuff he wanted to get.

Does this man also exhibit a fondness for Austrian drapes? just kidding;) Male browsers are in my experience a rarity, unless there buying for their significant others. Is his S.O. named Bruce by any chance. Kidding.

I am a "surgical strike" type shopper. I know what I want, where it is, how much it costs. I go in, get it and get the hell out.

My entire Christmas shopping experience lasts a total of about 4 hours. Even at the height of the season

My mother used to drive me crazy. She had to look at absolutely everything, and if it wasn't the cheapest one the store had, she wouldn't get it. UGH!!!!!!

But now that I think of it, it's not us women who usually complain about thier 'other' taking to long in the store, it's the men. So does that mean that most men are the ones who take to long?

I think I just confused myself.

I shop like the SAS I'm in out and gone before they know what the fuck hit them.

I shop like Eboneezer Scrooge, if it ain't in the sale I don't want it.haha

Carl.

It's tradition for women to take a long time shopping, and for the men to do it and run. LOL I like to take my time grocery shopping. I don't dawdle, but I like to see if there might be any interesting new products. Hubby likes to get what's on the list, and go. We don't go shopping together anymore. It saves on fights that way. LOL

Stormystarr I go shopping with you from now on... the only place I ever linger at is a CD shop... otherwise it is in-out-bing-done.

Just the opposite for me. I am a browser and he is the quick in and quick out type. I can spend an hour in Target picking up a few items. When he is shopping with me he keeps asking "Is that it?, anything else?"

A friend of mine told me she saw us at the store one day, I asked why she didn't say hello. She told me we were bickering and she didn't want to interrupt. I laughed and said that wasn't bickering that was typical shopping behavior bor us.

well now, *thinking to self* If only I could merge the man with the chef!

*sigh* I'm a dwaddler. I have to go up and down every single aisle of the store. Primarly cause my list is ALWAYS wrong. If I followed my list precisely, I'd have to go back, so I toodle down all the aisles and say Oh Yeah!!!

My hubby learned to put up with it, now he's a dwaddler. His mom is a kamikaze shopper, she loathes taking us with her.

I don't do it all the time. I think you have to once in a while, though. Otherwise, you might miss some really good junk food! There's always something you might not have tried before, but are in a mood to at that time. If you don't dawdle, you might miss it. Hmm, there seems to be a theme here. LOL

Another reason I don't go shopping with the hubby. He always goes off on his own, and when I'm done with the shopping, I have to go find him. This usually takes at least 2 complete searches of the store, all the while, I'm getting madder and madder. And then he acts all innocent! Yeah, right. Or he takes the cart and disappears, with the same results. Infuriating man!

In my household, HE does the grocery shopping, and does it all by his lil' lonesome self. I figure, hey, he eats twice as much as I do (sometimes 3X's as much), I'm the one who cooks the food, cleans up the mess it makes, and does the dishes. The least he can do is buy it!

Its not men that you hate...

Its the way most of them act when they go to the grocery store. A man gets lost there because its not his turf. He takes so long with his choices because of his confusion from so many choices. This is not a place to take a man, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE IN A HURRY.

I love to go grocery shopping, alone. My wife takes too short a time. She's done while I'm still looking at the condiments. (That's condiments, not condom mints).

Shopping...

I guess my husband and I are a good match neither one of us likes to shop and when we want something we know where to find it, go in and get it, purchase and leave A.S.A.P. nothing irritates me more than all of the pushing and shoving of everyone who's scared to death you are going to get something that they wanted! Geez...gives me a headache. I've got a sister-in-law who is a shopping nightmare she dawdles over EVERYTHING...I try my best to never go with her!

P.S. Flamingoblue loved the "condom mints" I don't think I will ever look at condiments the same way again! LOL!

Starr my ex-girlfriend used to drive me nuts..... 10 minutes shopping for me is too long.... she walked slow, decided slow, changed her mind quick and re-decided slower.... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Shopping is fun (NOT)

I am always willing to do a weekly or monthly grocery shop, not a problem, look in the cupboards see what we are short of,or have to much of. Go out and buy what is needed with treats for all.

What I can not do is go clothes shopping with my girlfriends,if they are not going to listen to my opinion as to what styles they should buy, why take me?
Especially for a quick 3 hours of clothes shopping after a 12 hour night shift.

You mean you actually have an opinion? I thought men didn't have those! Gawd knows, my hubby doesn't have an opinion in his whole body. And it's not like I ask really hard questions, either. It's more like: which color, the blue or the purple? LOL

I vow to never ever again go to the store with a man!
And I vow to never go shopping again with a woman,,, so there,,, phhhttt!!!

Well if some men wouldn't take so long in the store, and take longer in the bedroom, I wouldn't complain. So ha ha CW.
