Scores go up, scores go down. Let her enjoy the moment.Congrats
I lost about half of mine after the first week. A handful of 1 votes, but it is always nice while it last.
4.5.By the looks of it the red H only stays as long as you have a 4.7 or better? Thats a really easy number to drop when you have less than 20 votes.
It does. I'm glad the story is doing so well. I was kind of nervous about putting a slow burn in any category on Literotica4.5.
And that red H feels awesome to have, doesn't it.?
From what I've seen slow burns seem to do much better here, which honestly surprised me when I first noticed it. I was referred to here from a site where people won't read it if it's longer than ~2k words. It was an adjustment, but they can be a lot of fun to write and the readers 'seem' to appreciate the time/effort.It does. I'm glad the story is doing so well. I was kind of nervous about putting a slow burn in any category on Literotica
Agreed..I like the slow burnMy view is that if a reader really enjoys the story from the beginning, they can be convinced to finish it whenever they have time. It's not much different reading a one-page story or the first page of a slow burn story, except the one-page probably already got to the sexy bits: but if the first page of a slowburn has a lot going for it, readers will want to see what comes next.
It probably helps that the rating and comments come at the very end too

Echo that. Most of my stuff is slow burn... except for the ones that launch straight in in the first paragraph. They tend to become contemplative, later.Congrats.
Slow burns work. A lot of my stories are that way.
I'm a college student lol.Now you have to wear 'The Scarlet H' on a piece of clothing at work.
