Where I live it's too cold for roaches.
But we have huntsman spiders and scorpions. It's scorpion season now, so there's a set of long-handled tongs in every room to grab them.

These little fuckers are about 2cm long and black, so you often don't see them till you've stood on them and been stung.
At least the sting isn't too bad

Hiya lovely
The bugs up here take a break during the hottest part of the day, and then come out with a vengeance around dusk.
Yesterday, for the first time, I had midges.... small bitey fucks that fit through the flyscreen.
Right now at 1030, the bugs have all pissed off to go hide from this godforsaken heat and humidity.
I swear - I will never complain about the snow again!
