I am sure most of you have heard of this by now.....

Rush Limbaugh has lost most of his hearing. Greater then 50% is what I have heard. This leads me to one interesting question. Now that he has lost most of his hearing and is disabled will he stop insulting the ADA?

What do you people thing?

He makes some comment about how horrible the ADA is probably every other show. If he finds some way to stay on the air I wonder if what he will do?

Will he stop saying how bad it is and start supporting it or will he just say nothing more about it?

As most of you know my gf is severly hearing impaired so I found this more interesting then the average person would.

personally I don't care for him, but I know many swear by him. It's possible that this is for real, but there's also something called ratings, and this would be something that would get people to listen to him. Not saying it's fake, just saying it could go etiher way with him. He did just sign a big contract, and surely if he had known this earlier, and his employer was aware of it, then maybe that contract wouldn't have happened for him. So it's good timing whichever way it goes.

If he did lose MOST (as the article I read, said) of his hearing, then it's nice he can do his job while this is/was happening to him.

From what I've heard (pardon the expression) is he will stay on the air, thanks to technology.

As far as his opinions, especially in relation to ADA, I would hope he would not change. (Not that I agree with him, I can't stand Rush, but I hope he sticks to his beliefs, as misguided as I might think they are...)

Otherwise, that would be like someone mouthing off about welfare for years and then as soon as they fall on hard times, they apply for benefits. If you like or don't like something enough to mouth off about it to millions of people a week, I'd hope you wouldn't change your mind due to circumstances.

Who knows???

Maybe Limbaugh will learn something from this experience and will moderate his views. Will this be a humbling experience? God works in mysterious ways. (Nothing personal, Myst!)
