Based on my experience with my kids, the major “grooming” is coming from other kids, not adults. Social media especially. I don’t know any kids who formally and surgically transitioned, more along the lines of I just want to be who I am based on how I feel.

Truly I don’t understand any of it but I don’t have to. All I have to do is respect it. I do my best with that. Pronouns don’t bother me. Live and let live.

Also to some other post about the destruction of the family unit, this is more economics than anything else.

Ever since the wokesters made it illegal for therapists to provide treatments to patients that might cause them to detransition or to no longer demonstrate gender dysphoria the suicide rate for these people has gone up.

And this is where I am absolutely at all of you folks who say these things should be between a doctor and patient when YOU PEOPLE already intruded into that space and promised to punish anyone who treats someone for depression or etc. if that treatment results in the patient no longer expressing gender dysphoria.

The consequence is that 'trans' people who express their gender dysphoria as a symptom of an underlying mental condition are effectively being refused treatment for that underlying condition if the therapist feels their license to practice or their liberty will be at threat.

No reputable medical authority supports the necessity or efficacy or ethics of conversion therapy -- and none supports the necessity or efficacy or ethics of Tennessee's law against gender-affirming care.
