Book 6 will be out in shops on July 16th!!!
:nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana:

And today, 9th of January, is Severus Snape's birthday!
:rose: Happy birthday, Sevvie!

First of all, how do we know Snape's b-day?

Secondly, this means Snape's b-day is my half b-day! Weeeeeird!

Thirdly, this means HP 6 comes out a week after my b-day. Woot!

We know Snape's birthday and HBP's release date because I looked them up on JKR's website this morning.

*nod* I had heard about the release date, but it's good to hear it confirmed in multiple places. Thanks for the info!

"Oh, Huuuuuuubby..! What do you say we take a little vacation in London this summer..?":)

I was surprised to find this out the other night when I was in Hastings. They were already doing pre-orders. I will pre-order it, but not quite this early.

I'm so glad that there are some die-hard HP fans here because I have a question. I had heard a while ago that Ms. Rowling said that there wasn't going to be a movie for every book because the kids were getting too old. Is this still true? Has she changed her mind yet? Thanks!

Hi Svenska and all you HP-Fans. I must say I'm not one of you. I never read the books, I never caught the hype. But I've seen the film and don't regret to have seen them. (Alan Rickman would shine even if he would just lay unconcscious on the ground for two hours)

I have to say I'm kinda glad for HP-hardcore fans. I'm neither jealous nor annyoed by the HP-phenomenon. I like seeing people being caught in that world. I love seeing children in costumes waiting in front of bookstores at night. I think it's cool.

So enjoy, while you can.

(The end is coming nearer)

I haven't heard that rumor about the kids being too old for the movies, and I find it hard to believe. Twenty-something actors often portray teenages in movies and on television; I can't see age being much of a problem, especially considering the huge success of the movies so far. I'm twenty years old, and I get asked fairly often what grade I'm in :D

oooooo ... u mean Harry Potter ... hehe

(I thought u were talkin about Hewlett Packard)

Hew who?

Talked to Hubby earlier, and told him about the bookrelease. He agreed that it would be fun to go to London again, and queue outside the bookstore for a few hours to get The Book.

I just want to hear him say it one more time, when he's wide awake, to be sure...

#(@£$£#$€{${#\$ time difference!!!

Ooh, good question. Do I want to torture him or actually give him something he'll like? I'm picturing the Potions dungeon... in pink, with sparkly streamers and noisemakers that go off every ten minutes. I'm picturing a giant cake in the staffroom with Professor McGonagall (sp?) jumping out... no!! Erase that last one.

Well said. I'd like to be there when he's unconscious.

Jarvis (not the company)

Someone mentioned on the radio today that Jarvis Cocker (the lead singer of Pulp) is going to be in the next movie. Anyone know who he's playing?

(intrigued Jarv fanatic!)

I doubt it.....

Money talks, and as long as the films are pouring Pounds Sterling into the right honorbale Mrs. Rowling's savings account she will give her blessings.

The kids don't seem too old - in the books they started at, what - 11 or 12? So after 7 years at Hogwarts they will be 18 or 19. I'd say they looked 14/15 in the last film (third year) so that's right on track. Maybe they are shooting up like weeds now. I suppose if Harry is 6' 2" with a baritone and a 5 o'clock shadow when he should be 16 then it might be time for him to matriculate early.

I wonder how many people are waiting until book 7 so they can script a LIT-style "graduation party" at Hogwarts......can't wait for that hot Weasley action!

"Phallus Gigantus!"
:D
