WE do not know how to stop the printer from printing when we have made an error and the printer keeps printing and printing.
How do you stop it?
We have read their manual, tried getting the information from their website to no avail.
They want $25.00 an hour to answer aa simple question which should have been covered in their instructions.
Any help will be grearly appreciated.

Go to Contorl Panel/printers. When it's printing, double clicking the HP printer should bring up the Printmanager screen with a status report on what is printing and how much is left to print. Youcan abort the print at that point.

There may also be an icon inthe system tray when you are printing that will bring up the printer driver where you can abort the print.

If all else fails, the HP812c, like most other printers, cannot print if it isn't plugged in and turned on. Interrupting the power should cause the printer software to show an error notice that will allow you to cancel the print job before you reapply power to the printer so it won't resume printing.

Thanks

Thank you for your quick and accurate response. If I weren't so clumsy and inept, We wouldn't have these problems.
