How to suspend?

I have a situation that I can't seem to find an answer to. I line in a rather normal home and I would like to suspend my subs hands and arms over her head then tie them off somewhere. Her feet don't even have to be off the ground. However I can't find anywhere in my house where this can be done, say in the middle of a room. There is simply nothing to bind the rope or binders to. Does anyone have any creative answers to this problem outside of bringing down a ceiling or overhead light?

If your sub doesn't have to be in the middle of the room, you could always do what we have done and attach a strong hook to the lintel above a door.

If it has to be in the centre of the room, then you will need to find one of the joists to attach the hook to.

Ok, this is a little complicated, but it works. Get three eyehole screws (long screws) and drill them into a wall stud. now find a support beam in the cieling and drill three more eyehole screws into that. (Make them a a fair ways apart.) Now buy a pulley, and using three different wires, attach it to the eyeholes in the cieling. take a rope, secure it to something that is at least equal weight of your submissive, and is securely held down. then run the other end of the rope up through the eyeholes in the wall, and over the pulley. attach said submissives wrist cuffs to the rope, and adjust tension as necessary. The weight will mostly be on the secured object, with some weight on the eyeholes that are secured into the wall and cieling.

Warning. Do not fully suspend your sub this way, make sure her feet are on the ground and can take her weight. If you pull her completely off the ground this way, you will do heavy damage to her shoulders.

It does not have to be in the center of the room, but how else can you do it where you have access to both the front and back of your sub?

This might interest you. I don't much like the design. Seems like the legs would get in the way of flogging.

The simplist way to go is with one of the D ring contraptions that fit over the top of a closed door. You don't have access to both sides though.

I'd be hesitant to make any major design changes to the house. I don't think many were built with the idea of suspension in mind.

Well, I can you what Himself did the other day... he tool 2 lengths of rope and put an knot in one end and then closed the closet and bathroom doors over the knots and then used another length of rope to connect the two pieces of rope... Then he tied a hand to each end of the supended rope...

Most houses these days are not constructed in such a way that would allow you to safely suspend a heavy and struggling human being from a structural member. You are likely to pull your ceiling down. Not in the specs.

Apart from the fact that I may misunderstand the intention here due to the somewhat muddled explanation, I have to warn against this. A lot of variable factors, like rope angles, friction coefficients, bend radii etc. affects the equation. Therefore the (mechanical) stress on the person, as well as the eye screws, could very well end up being a lot larger than you intended.
Be sure you are familiar with the construction of the actual wall and ceiling, as well as the theories and practicalities of statics, strength calculation and the parallelogram of forces before you subject your treasured property to this!

Most homes have manhole access to the space between ceiling and roofing tiles. Get your head up there and have a good long look at the supports. Ceilings normally only collapse when some idiot suspends a sub only from a ceiling hook rather than a hook going through the ceiling into a solid beam.

Else get to a good sex shop and have a look through their bdsm section. There are plenty of free standing purpose built frames, which can be asembled in the lounge and taken down for storage when not in use. They just bolt together. If the price is too much any good handyman can make up a reasonable copy.
