How to post a quote correctly?

when I quote I usually find it and copy out of someones post....but then it doesn't give me the little italic "originally posted by....."

Ok, what the hell is the right way to do it? Thanks in advance!

Of course, youcn always manually enter the "originally posted by" part and use whatever format tags you want -- as long as you remember that almost of the vB tags are like on/off swithches. Youneed to remember to "close" the tags at the appropriate point and keep the closing tgs when you edit a quote.
