This statement is entirely predictable from you Xfrodo and almost entirely wrong.

I will deal first with the part you got right and in this comment will only deal with the Old Testament. The OT was inspired by the Hebrews experience of God and their relationship with their deity.

You do not have a scintilla of evidence to support the fantasy that Moses wrote anything at all. He is generally reckoned to have lived sometime between 1450 and 1250 BC yet the oldest writing in the first five books (and in the Deuteronomistic histories) is in a form of Hebrew not used until the late 7th century BC, the time of King Josiah - some 600 to 800 years after Moses death! It would be like finding a new poem by Chaucer but written in modern English - clearly a nonsense.

Genesis clearly responds to some very old traditions but was not finally redacted and written until the fourth/third century BC when the two creation stories in Chapters 1 and 2 were finalized. The clear evidence for this is in the large number of Aramaic (Persian) words used. Aramaic was unknown in Israel for more than a thousand years after Moses. The Hebrews had no experience or knowledge of this language until after their exile to Babylon in 587 BC. Moses would have been a clever guy to anticipate that. (An example - Paradise is a Persian word)

Joshua, David and Solomon did not write anything either. Like Moses it is extremely unlikely that any of them could write at all. I am not saying that Moses was not important, he got the Jews out of trouble and is credited through the ten commandments with giving a sound ethical dimension to Yaweh worship.

Read the attached Wiki article. It is by no means exhaustive but will give you a much sounder appreciation of how the Bible was made.

No, it was actually inspired by God Himself, but it does center on the Jews and particularly their Messiah Christ and how His people came about.

I have nearly all of the Scholars and Historians that say that Moses wrote these books, so you would be at odds with them. I will believe them that Moses wrote them.

That would be inaccurate. Genesis was written about 1500 BC according to the Scholars and Historians. I don't think that Moses wrote in Aramaic. I think only a few of the psalms were written in Aramaic and Moses's writings were written in Hebrew.

That's false. Yes they did. It's unfortunate that you are getting your information from faulty sources but it contradicts nearly all of the Scholars and Historians. My advice is that you stop going to twisted Liberals for the facts and go to real Bible scholars.

Was kind of surprised to find a thread like this on the site. But the question is much more simple than mankind and church have made it out to be.

The way you get to heaven if by having FAITH, believing in Jesus Christ as your Savior. It's not "how good" vs "how bad" you are, not how many times you have gone to church, it is nothing of your own merit. The ONLY thing that gets someone to heaven if by having FAITH in Christ.

Ephesians 2:8-9 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

I have no desire to go to heaven and I hate to break it to you but you are not going there either. And your warped ideas in no way represent what the Bible actually says. Take a deeper look.

No, what it was is that the Jews were to accept their Messiah Jesus Christ, but He hadn't yet died and rose again for our sins, the Gospel of Grace is that Jesus Christ died and rose again for our sins and we need to place our faith in Him for salvation.
