I kept a journal for awhile...

...to record it: day, time, place, circumstances, imagination focus, total time elapsed, quality, etc.

Recently I reviewed that historical account. Though I couldn't read every page of the journal....from the pages that did open up I was amazed by how much time I spent in in the two-year period it covered.

I've made a concentrated effort to cut down on the self-manipulation and use that time for other matters. I do splurge on holidays and vacations though!
