How many people are peeing into their Cokes while watching Harry Potter?

The thing is two and a half hours long, and, apparently, you don't want to miss anything. Sheesh. Do you think I can get an entire theatre to agree on an intermission?

It was a struggle but I managed to hold it for the last hour or so. Thank god for all 7/11 double glup bladder training ahead of time.

Just think if they had released the "Extended Version" of Fellowship of the Ring...that's damn near 4 hours long.

You aren't missing anything if you take a 150 minute break during Harry Potter 2...other than a remake of the first movie.

There's a movie?

I don't know why they don't automatically put in an intermission in these longer films. I mean, it is a classic way of dealing with that sort of thing.

Do you think that you'd have made it through Lawrence of Arabia without one? No! So why not do it with Lord of the Rings, and the other movies that are now longer in duration?

It only seems logical.

I have to admit, I drank very little of my diet coke during the first Harry Potter movie just for that reason. I didn't want to have to take an unscheduled bathroom break! Thanks for the warning, I guess I'll have to do the same thing this weekend when I take all the munchkins to see movie #2.

I had my legs crossed during the last half hour cursing the ciders I'd had with dinner. lol

It's simple. Wait until the video comes out, rent it. Use your VCR to watch it. There's a button called "pause", if you press that the movie will stop, you can go pee in your coke bottle and not miss a thing.
