How Many Days Until Spring

17 days. Yesterday, Mother Nature sent us a not-so-gentle reminder that she's still in charge of the seasons, and that she's not ready to send spring just yet.

March - in like a lion, indeed...
 
Second snow storm in less than a week. 😒

The good news? Spring 13 days away! 😊 We got this.
 
So I guess now it's 12... only a dozen. Now if mother nature would stop sending us storms with names...
 
8 days to go.

This is not one of those winters that fades early, with spring-like temps creeping into the scene before winter actually ends. The third snow-producing coastal storm of the month is making its way up the east coast here. I heard as much as 2 feet of snow in Boston!

If you're in the path, hang in there.
 
6 days to go....inside of a week!

I looked at the weather forecast for the first day of spring, next Tuesday. High temp of 41 with rain. I was expecting sunny and 75, but.....Damn!

After the last few weeks of cold and snow, I'd be very happy with that :)

I hear ya. It's funny how it's all relative. If we would have had 41 degrees around here back in January when we were topping out in the 20s, everyone would've said we were getting a break.
 
The heat refuses to dissipate stalling the real onset of Autumn... Spring feels so far away
 
Today's the day.

I'm afraid here on the east coast USA, its a shallow victory. We're expecting a 2-day winter storm with various frozen precipitation showing its ugly face.

But let's look at it as Winter's Last Stand. Thanks for counting down with me!

Here in Michigan it is starting to look like Spring now...this week has still been chilly, but the Sun is out daily...and The air feels so fresh and I can just feel it coming...

I worry about all of you on the east coast with the big dump coming...Hopefully though you can all enjoy the beauty of the snow...It is tough to see it that way though...:heart:

My problem with the beauty of snow is that it's beautiful for such a short period of time before it turns to slush. With our marginal temperatures, this snow is pretty much falling to the ground as slush.

Hopefully that means it melts faster. :)
 
I know we stopped counting when we officially got to spring but...


I was out running errands today and saw 4 motorcyclists. THAT is a sure sign that spring has finally arrived! :heart:
