Yeah it's funny what people think are signals sometimes. We've been in the lifestyle over 20 years but hear things from non-swinging folks about sure signs like pampas grass in the front yard that we had never heard of anyone in the community actually using. That rumor got so out of control that sales of pampas grass cratered because people didn't want to be associated.
