I posted a similar question about a year ago....I was in my first meeting with a new management team at work and one of my new peers had an anklet on. I was confused since she's single, but the sight of that sexy anklet plus her being quite hot took my thoughts to fun places.

Do single women wear anklets any more?

Unless said single woman was in the lifestyle previously, I'd doubt they'd even know what wearing one signifies. But I've seen some gorgeous ladies wear a normal anklet and even tho there was no meaning behind it, still gave them sex appeal
 
Always wondered about the anklets myself and if they hold any meaning when I see them on a woman. Especially a couple coworkers that have them and I recently took notice. Would love to find out but that could lead to different problems if I’m wrong 🤣
 
This is just me cuz I'm super social lol but I'd make notice of it and compliment the jewelry and make small talk about it. Knowing what I know, I wouldn't infer what I think it might mean as I could be totally off base but they may admit what it's for.

So, my wife wears an anklet. I mentioned what I thought it meant. She claims ignorance. However, she has never taken it off. Yes, she has had other lovers in the past.

I have several anklets. Some are just nice jewelry and some are explicitly of the hotwife variety. I take the view that they don't mean anything unless they have hotwife wording or symbols, but I suppose people see what they see. Men seem to like them, but not all are aware of the potential for sexual meaning beyond a nice piece of jewelry. When I see a man trying to get a closer look that is generally a good indicator of a man who is aware of the potential hotwife meaning. It is fun to see the excitement in them when they do realize that I am wearing a hotwife anklet. For all of the talk about hotwives online they still look at me like I am a unicorn and can't believe we really exist.

It's always a thrill to suddenly see something suggestive that you weren't expecting.
 
My wife wears ankle bracelets quite often and has several different ones. We actually went out and bought a custom one a few weeks ago. We liked a certain type of chain, but did not like the charm, so swapped it out for a different charm that looked better. We had to wait a few days before it came into the jewelry store, but was worth the wait.

My wife knows the potential meaning of them, but as others have said, they do not really mean anything unless certain charms depict that. She wears her on her left ankle, it being the same side as her wedding band to denote she is married.

I know of only once where wearing one generated any interest. We had just got out of church and needed something at Home Depot for a house project and my wife was dressed up nicely with an anklet. A husband/wife couple was in the same aisle as us, and the WIFE just looked shocked that she was wearing an anklet. It was a while ago now, but I remember there was no question, you could just see it in the lady's mind, on wondering if we were advertising for a wife-sharing experience. We were NOT, but there was no doubt, she knew what wearing an anklet COULD mean.
