Hosting advice?

From what I have read, you need to host your pictures on another site and then link them from there?

Anyone have advice or experience with the different picture hosting sites?

To avoid problems with "The Rules", post the explicit pics on an external picture hosting site. Then link to the pictures using the tag. Do not use the tag as the pics will display and either your pics will be removed by the Moderator, or worse, your thread may be deleted.

As far as specific recommendations, I use Mejuba.com for pics. Works well. Provides what I call "private" URLs which prevent people from trolling your other stuff. However, I am not satisfied with the way Mejuba hosts videos.

I use Photobucket.com for hosting videos. Videos work well there. I seldom use Photobucket for pictures. If your file naming follows a pattern (001.jpg, 002.jpg, ...) then it is easy to troll your stuff. If you use Photobucket for pics, make sure you assign random file names BEFORE uploading the pics.
