For the pictures you've already taken, Irfanview, or other image eidting program, will allow you to crop, resize and/or convert them as necessary to meet the 800x600x100KB size limits.

For future pictures taken with the sole intent of posting them here, just change you camera's resolution to 800x600 or 640x480 and remember that neither resolution can be in "portrait" orientation (600x800 or 480x640) when they're uploaded.

Odds are, you will need to edit and crop your pictures anyway, so finding an image editing program that you like (and can afford) is your best choice.

Almost every Image processing program is capable of resizing an image to a size specified in pixels and saving it in JPeG format -- so find one you like.

Irfanview is easy to learn, does a good job, and is completely free. It does require Windows to function and some people don't like it's "look and feel."

You can also upload them to Imageshack ( www.imageshack.us ) which will resize them for you automatically, and provide you with a web address to link to. You might have to register (I did; don't recall if it was necessary), but it is free.....Carney

If you want to do special things with your photos and would like a freebie version of Photoshop, download Serif Photoplus.
Almost the exact same thing- I find it to actually be a bit easier to understand.
