Hey buddy ... can you spare a post?

I've got 14 more posts to go before I can load an avatar onto my profile ... which is probably why I've been so chatty on this board yesterday and today.

Please be nice and post innane comments that I can post short, snappy and hopefully amusing comebacks to in order to get me to 100.

I would also welcome any suggestions for an avatar you might have ... I want to have an avatar ... Just haven't picked one out yet.

BTW ... I will cry if nobody responds.

Av suggestion:

A picture of your hair follicle;
Your proudest achievement;
Your favourite animal;
Something that totally represent you;

Whatever makes your heart pitter patter :)

Oh, I remember that feeling!

You go! Tell us more about yourself! Or not (if you don't want to)!

:cathappy:

What's the meaning of life? Short, snappy, and hopefully amusing are, in thise case, optional.

And what in that list does your current AV represent? ;)

Hey...how come it's Jen who gets something from you? Am I not the one who made you honorary member of the editor's crowd? Don't I deserve something too? :(

Boo hoo hoo...I go cry in the corner for now...nobody loves me :(

As for AV... a little picture of yourself is always nice... I like glimpsing a part of the real person.

Something funny is also great. Making people laugh is underrated.

I could offer you this unfinished story... *shifty eyes*

There's no catch, I swear!

Except you need to get it back to me edited at some point.

It's a great offer! Once in a lifetime! Act now before it's gone!

That's what I always thought.

Okay ... time for a quick vote on Hitchhiker's Guide: Which was the best version?

The book
The radio play
The TV mini-series (british production)
The recent movie

I love the radio play best ... it brings back some great memories. The book was great as well, but I was introduced to Arthur, Ford and Trillian through the radio play first.

I'm taking it... can even get it back by tomorrow night if everything goes according to plan. :D

LadyC ... pumpkin pie makes you vomit. What kind of gift would that be?

Psst ... how about a red pen? Camo just doesn't make any sense to me. ;)

Uh...I'll ask my husband to answer than question. Never heard of the Hitchhiker's before I met him and even now I don't understand what the craze is all about.

My husband agrees with you Rogue....he loved the radio play best too.

I've only seen the movie and read the book. I loved the books a bunch. The movie was better than expected, but there was no chance for it to even get close to the books.

And, if you don't mind me turning this into a random chat thread:

LadyC, I need help with the blasted description field, if you are able to help. For the first chapter of the Hiding Game, I left it blank and I think it tuned out decent, but for the second chapter, I want to come up with something by myself. Problem is, I'm really bad at this. Either I think of something right away, or... not. And then it usually gets really difficult for me.

Any suggestions?

No idea sweetie...I'm always stuck with the damn description field myself....I never know what to put here and I always end up asking my husband for help.

I thought it was camoflauge (sp?) ...

Quid? Since when did New Brunswick drop the loonie for the quid? :)

Since my husband is pure Brit and I've taken his expressions....no choice if we want to understand each other sometimes. :p
