Just checking in to see how everyone is holding up. We are healthy thus far. Snow in Chicago today and supposed to be in the mid 60's tomorrow. Husband being kept quite busy working from home. I have mainly been reading, cooking, cleaning house, and talking with friends and family. I hope that you all are doing well and keeping healthy.

Day off work here and I need to get to the store but it's pouring outside. This is the universe's way of telling me I need a hot bath, and it would be rude to ignore it

You don't want to queue up in the pouring rain. Listen to the universe. Thanks to the influence of several of the Brits here, I have recently become acquainted with the wonderful indulgence of soaking in a hot bath. Don't be rude to the universe.

You wouldn’t believe it but an hour later, the sun went and it started raining. Not heavy, just constant drizzle.

Angelica, I love the thought of you enjoying a long hot soak! A shower's way too much work. All that standing up.... I recommend some seriously indulgent bath foam. There's nothing quite like a bubble bath.

Pol! Many happy returns! I’m sorry it’s late, been all over the shop lately.

I’m fine without sanity. I don’t need sanity, I can walk past it in the supermarket without thinking about those long summer evenings in the garden ... no, that’s alcohol!

Sanity. It’s like hand sanitiser at the moment, the moment you see some you pounce on it. Either: pay through the nose for it (if you can fit your wallet up there ...) Or every other bastard gets there before you. (Bit like sex really)
