Heads up re. Amazon Affiliate

Saw this, thought it might be relevant to some here.

Amazon has an affiliate program where you can link to items in their store, and get a cut of resulting purchases.

Oh Joy Sex Toy is a comic about sex toys and related stuff. They were using the affiliate program to link to some of the toys discussed in that comic.

Amazon has decided that they're not going to pay OJST for helping Amazon sell sex toys... because the comic has explicit content. Mostly about sex toys. Like the kind that Amazon sells.

So if you're using that program, maybe check the T&Cs very carefully.

Amazon also says in its TOS it does not sell pornography but has hundreds of thousands of sexually explicit e-books....but when they ban one they tell you they don't allow pornography....if you say what about all the other porn on there they say....we don't allow pornography.

In other words they have the same rules lit does.
