Has Lit changed you in RL?

I have to say, since being on Lit I have been a bit more flirty in RL and more free with the subjects I'll discuss with people. This manifests itself mostly at work, and yes, I'm careful not to cross any lines.

But I definately feel *different* than Pre-Lit times. Not to say I'm some Don Jaun or anything, but I feel *sexier* and more aware of subtle hints people sometimes send my way.

Anyone else experience this?

In some ways yes, Lit has changed me. I'm a little more open sexually with the man I'm with...

but I'm still a very shy insecure person in RL towards other people.

Definately know what you mean...someone will make a slip of the tounge...leaving you open to expound upon it.

Someone said to today: "You need to get that stiffer" She was speaking of the foam airplane I was tossing around the workplace...but of course I had to arch my eyebrows at her and say: "Oh really..." and flash a grin.

My off-line life does not lend itself to any amount of flirtation or discussion of sex, and that's fine with me.

I have noticed an increased tolerance of all things sexual, however. I mentioned to some classmates that I saw Mulholland Drive, and they gasped that the movie is pornographic. It seriously took me several moments to realize they were talking about the love scene between the two lead characters. I wouldn't have been shocked by the scene pre-Lit, but my bell curve of normal sexual behavior has definitely expanded.

And I'm keeping my mouth shut from now on at school.

I'm not sure if Lit has actually changed me, but I happened to join Lit while I was going through some major changes in my RL. I'm a lot more confidant now. I've come a long way on the path to becoming who I want to be. I've met some great folks here, and it's nice to have a place to check in, chat, and get away from it all. It's hard to say if I'm more confidant because of posting on Lit, or more comfortable about posting on Lit because in RL I've become more confidant.

Kind of a 'chicken or the egg' thing there.

Well I have to admit...I'm much more flirty and somewhat more confident here than in RL, but then that just makes sense.

If I went around flirting with woman at work like I do here...I would'nt have a job very long! Think the HR department might frown on that?

On the same note...it's fun to be flirty here and easier to open up. Too easy sometimes. You have to remember real people are behind these names and avatars.
