Has another member ever approached you to write a story for them?

With these requests, I wonder how often they come from guys who've split up, or who've been totally unable to get the object of those stories. In particular when it comes from a 'woman' who asks for a story in which she gets fucked in the nastiest ways, and completely humiliated.
Could be. But my guy seems legit. There is another person involved and he’s contacted her to get her blessing. Could all be a front, but my policy is to treat people as legit if they behave as legit. Too tiring being suspicious all the time.

I think I’d struggle to write something I wasn’t in to myself. I guess that’s me being a limited writer.

Yeah, you'd need an exchange of PMs first to make sure you're compatible with the person asking, as far as the expectations for the story. The first time I did it, YEARS ago when I was only a few stories deep here, the guy wanted a story about a gymnast. I didn't agree to do it until my own muse had taken that general idea and provided me with a story I wanted to write.

Of course, I made it very clear to the asker that he'd have zero input into what I cranked out beyond the MC's name, the general idea of gymnastics, and a couple other details. He was more than fine with it; I think he enjoyed the surprise.

If he'd been more pushy with his own ideas, and/or my own muse hadn't responded to his prompt, I'd not have agreed to do the story.

Oh yes, from time to time. Never done it. I mean, why should I write a story prompted by someone else? I am no ghost writer. Ok, if I would need money. But I don't. Something different is, writing a story together. This can make fun if the vibe is existing.

I'm writing one right now, this is my second attempt to write a story for someone else. The first fizzled out because I wasn't interested enough in the subject matter, as some mentioned that's a real killer, I can't spend 10 plus hours on something just a favor, I have to be into it. Fortunately this person had definitely read my stories cause they wanted a fucked up and weird tranny story which is exactly what i'm all about so I'm at 7500 words and now worried I'm gonna write 15k lol. Which is fine but I delayed writing a series entry to do it.

The bigger pitfall is the requestor might not actually like the direction I went but I used every detail they gave me. I really want the requestor to like it and it to be the story they hoped for. I warned them I'd write whatever they provided but any blank space is mine and it's going up on my account. They didn't give as much detail as I'd prefer so we'll see what happens.

Yes, someone did ask me recently. Makes me wonder if its the same person. I replied but never heard more from them.

If someone handed me a story idea and wanted me to write it my way, I might do so if I liked it. If they wanted to act like a director and chose every camera angle, it would be a hard no.
