You ever notice that no one ever starts off on the right and then studies an issue and suddenly finds out oh my gosh those on the left are actually correct?


They still use the term Reaganomics derisively, as if the grand experiment didn't work.

Despite the fact that its failed everywhere it's been tried principles of Marxism and principles of Keynesian economics have been shown to fail and they're still revered by the left... They can't point to a single example where their economic principles have prevailed.

Results don't matter. When their idea fails it's because they didn't do enough of whatever their idea was... Communism would've worked if they were just more communists in the world it was evil capless the brought them down. The stimulus package would have worked if it was just 3,4 maybe ten times as big.

As an aside the 'canary in the coal mine' is the fact that even with the government 'shut down' we're going to exceed the debt limit here shortly. With the government shut down one might reasonably expect that date to have migrated to some point in time in the future.

Also as an observation on the methods used during this shut down by the administration. Various monuments etc. have been shut down for no apparent reason. It's obvious from yesterdays whacko event that the Park Police are still on the job and it's not as if there's gated entrances to the Mall, Lincoln, Jefferson, Washington, etc. memorials/monuments. Why not erect barricades across the roadways that wander through the nations national forests?

Further this is the first time in my memory, perhaps in the nations history, that I've heard a sitting president purposely try to talk down the economy. Making statements that are generally only heard by belligerent foreign heads of state. I wonder how his union buddies and his buddies on Wall St. feel about his attempts to tank the economy?

I'm not sure why you're calling it the bush recession as if one man was responsible for it. If you want to bring it down to personalities that it is the dodd-frank recession. If you want to spread the wealth around a little bit you could call it the Carter Clinton dodd-frank recession.

Oh and by the way the root causes that caused this recession still haven't been fixed and we're trying to cause another inflated housing bubble now as we speak using the exact same principles because the first one... but I'm guessing you don't have any idea what I'm talking about.

On most principles I never leaned even slightly to the left because it made made no sense. Starting from the position of life is inherently unfair, you could decide that the proper function of government is to somehow or another make life more fair for people. But each and every avenue of that that you track down you see that the exercise is futile.

Those that can't rise want no matter how much you boost them up and those that will rise can't be held down.

Obamacare is a prime example. Sure it's going to give insurance cards to a lot of people won't increase the number of doctors or the cost of the healthcare system as a whole. I'm thinking of going self employed in if I do so it most likely will be cost effective for me to simply pay the 2000 dollar penalty call that my insurance and then women if I ever have some condition needing insurance I will just go home I get my no pre-existing condition insurance and have them cover me for a million dollars... I'm not the only one that's going to do that.

What Obamacare does is it subsidizes those who for whatever reason don't do the things that one needs to do to get insurance I eat find an employer with insurance earn enough money to buy insurance or go on Medicaid.. like anything else you subsidized you get more of it so instead of getting more people participating in the insurance pool you are going to get less.

This is just the basic logic and its going to escape all of those who disagree with me
