It's 6 pm on Christmas Eve here, so I thought I'd better do my feel-good greeting before I have too many glasses of wine!
Despite not having the best year and it ending in the worst possible way, I have much to be grateful for..... my wonderful kids, my gorgeous grandbabies, and all the wonderful friends who have rallied around me during the difficult times in 2015....

So here's my wish for you lot -
I hope your festive day is filled with love, laughter and hugs from loved ones, as well as enjoying good times with beloved friends over this festive season.

Thankyou. I begin the new year with major surgery (that I put off to go be with my sister) on the 4th Jan.
But I am hopeful that 2016 will be better!

If you are upside down, you're doing it wrong.

I was using the old-fashioned long surf board, not the Malibu board.

The advantage of the old board was that I could ride a wave with a young lady perched on each shoulder.

But you couldn't steer the long board easily. You just went straight towards the beach and hoped everyone else got out of the way.
