Funny thing... what I'm bein killed over, I almost considered incidental to the story. Shoulda done that different...lol

If it's the story I'm thinking of, you might be getting killed because you considered it incidental? But nonetheless, most sorry that you are getting killed. Ugh, death threats! What has the world come to when we can't even read a bit of porn without wishing violence on people? Really, you humans make the most amazing messes of things.

I don't believe mine has a chance of winning or lacing. Not after the ones I read yesterday. It's not even in the same league as most of them. But it will be good to get one posted :)

As to trolling. I think now might be a good time to remind everyone that cretain authors have a rabid and in some cases, fairly unscrupulous following. You may be getting blasted by these fans as they attempt to secure a win for their favorite. It's not uncommon to see it happen and it really has no bearing on the quality of your work. So don't let iit get you down.

I will keep an eye out for it. It's the least I can do for anyone who suffered through mine. :)

These are the same people who think NASCAR is a sport and it's okay to wear spandex biker shorts to WalMart.

I think Min had yours pegged horsey. It was like a train wreck, you couldn't look away even though you wanted to. It was gripping and the only one I have read on this site with a similar creeping horror was Doc's Moth story last contest.

*Shudder*

Wait... It's not ok to wear spandex to Wal-Mart?

Hey!! NASCAR is a sport.... and I would NEVER wear spandex, especially not to Wal-Mart!

We all have dreams........but Nascar being in the olympics is not one of them.
Spandex is not an option....ever.

Just put Dale Jr. in my bed, and I'd be happy. lol

Ahhh, thank you for a reminder of something to include in my next story. Must find a place where someone asked 'Who's your driver?'

Sorry I know people who decorate in '3' ... and if you've ever seen that :)

And NASCAR is a sport, turning left for that long really does build up those arms ;)

If there is a fantasy version, its a sport... just lets not talk fantasy fishing, K? :D

There are two rooms in my house that are totally NASCAR themed. My husband's a nut.

Ahhh no flashbacks to the room of decorative '3' plates. And the ceiling fan, black blades spinning, Sr's head plastered on each one, around and around and around.... Careful you don't knock over one of the diecast scale replicas!

*shudder* *flashback*

Sorry *giggle* I don't get the room decorating, but I know enough to wear sunscreen if you go, SPF of beer your friend spilt negative 50, and lord knows it'll be the dumbest looking sunburn EVER!

Personally I like guys that know how to drive ;)

~Alex

We don't have any plates or ceiling fans, but we do have posters, clocks, license plates, mini-hoods, and cars... lots of cars.

Mostly #s 3, 8, and 15, but there are a few others thrown in.

I watch the races sometimes, but rarely do I watch the entire thing. I just like looking at Jr., lol.

I was under the impression dricing 500 miles in a cirlce and refusing to get out and ask directions was a purely masculine thing. :)

lol, not totally. There are a few women drivers here and there. And there are loads of female fans, though I'd bet at least half of them like it because of how sexy some of the drivers are, LOL.

We prefer to call it NASCAR

Sorry, didn't see the post previous to this.
I swear, I'm really working for 'dumbest post of the day today'
Apologies to all.

I lost them too....I can double check for you, I have all but one of mine.

ps.....you're more twisted than color tv.

*laugh*! It certainly is a damned human thing. We have the sense to know when we've been all of the way around the track. :)

yep.. right story and right reasoning... what is pissin em off is that I made something incidental that tweeked the tail.... it shouldn't be incidental to the story but the center of it.

shoulda known better
