Hang in there. Remember, Laurel will run sweeps that should raise your score. Besides, your numbers prove Og's point about increased readership. That's one mess of views and votes, especially for a story that's only been posted for three days.

Thanks for the tally. That seems like a virtual plethora (to quote Howard Cosell) of entries for just the fourth day of a contest. At this rate, a hundred should be a cinch. Does anyone know what the record is for entries?

I have another submission for the comp. The prob is which cat to put it in. There is some male/male stuff in it (oral) but it isn't 'gay male' as there's a female involved as well.
It could go in 'Letters and transcripts' as it is themed as an email after the sordid events took place.
I think Imay get a caning whatever i do with it. i'll put a caveat in the preamble to the effect that there's boys doing nasty stuff, but I can guess what'll happen all the same.

the 2nd- 27 more (36)
and today- 13 more (49)

I did some math (no, really!) it averages to 13.3 entries per day.
I imagine submissions will drop off after the first week,. At this rate,
it would be somewhere around 470 stories, not very realistic.

Man, you think I'd have something better to do....

Hmmmm... let's see. 421 views, 21 votes, 3 positive PC, (thanks Imp and Vella ) a couple of good feedbacks and the lowest rating I've ever had on any story.

Went from a 4.86 to a 4.00 in a few hours this morning. Apparently the voting in these contests is every bit as nasty as I've heard. I think this may be my first and last contest.

a sweep will probably take you back up. don't be put off by stuff on the contests, just have fun!
