Yeah, some of the comments are absurd.
Myself, I thought it was well written. It moved well from start to finish,
and the little bit of humor at the end worked for me.

That's an amazing number of votes for a Romance story, even as part of a contest.

I'm wondering if mine has gotten some troll votes. It's not a horribly low score, but I *know* the story is good enough to have a better score (thanks to my editor, vamp).

Loved it Crim. Really steallar set up for the spooky atmosphere with some tight, but descriptive prose

My Halloween contest entry has been submitted, Halloween Revisited. Almost impossible to write as it is based on a true story and I am one of the characters. However, this story's creation was extremely cathartic to me, and I don't care how it does in the contest.....it simply needed to be written.

I have great respect for your opinion, Colly. You might take a look at mine. The name is "The Last Piece of Ass": but don't be put off by that.

Writing someone with a psychosis is perhaps one of the hardest things to do, because that psychosis has to remain clarion throughout the work. I think you accomplished that Box and all kudos to you. For a fine work and for stepping outside your normal comfort zone with the tone of the work.
