Grabbed in public

No, I didn't miss the angle, I just don't have it. I accept some women do, becUse sexuality is broad, but I think its less broad than is often hoped by people who grope).

I have HONESTLY never seen a handsome stranger and thought "what if they were to grope me". I have seen a handsome stranger and thought "hmm, I'd like to swap numbers with them" but I would dislike overtures to initiative conversation to be misconstrued as 'hey, I am open to be groped'.

As some one who has been groped a fair bit, it is NOT exciting to me, whether its on transport, in busy bars, and not in the course of doing a job.

I would dearly loved to have bibunny show the young me how to break fingers. Really.

My husband or a consentual partner......fine. Stranger.....no thank you.

OK thank you, that's a lot clearer and without resorting to personal abuse (looks at Penuche).

I totally get your perspective.

Nevertheless, some women MUST have those FANTASIES.
They obviously haven't found this thread yet to tell about them.:)

Sure, some women have those fantasies and some women have experienced and enjoyed it as well. No doubt about that.

This thread, as it is now, has little to do with BDSM and would probably have a better chance of succeeding in the Fetish and Sexuality board. A quick search revealed that the topic has been discussed there before: Taking the train

The OP certainly succeeded in this part of his post:

asking for "your reactions" .

I'm guessing it might not have been the reactions he was hoping for.

Which totally supports the notion that it is a male fantasy not a female one.
Not for a minute saying that all males, while having the fantasy, will actually act on it.

And no, it is not pleasant for women experiencing the groping, as many have pointed out.

I expect this thread to die soon. Unless it manages to draw out the (few it seems) women who do have such fantasies, and I stress harmless fantasies.

Thanks for lending support to my idea. I was sure I wasn't misguided.

Yes, I agree, it ought to be posted in a place where 'God's Police' won't stumble across it, and that the 'Damned Whores' will. (ref to a ground-breaking book by Dr Anne Summers, check it out).

You're spinning the fantasy angle, but I don't get the impression the OP was talking about ONLY in fantasy.

I doubt there are many women who like it, but I know one. She's never been groped and I suspect if it happened in real life she wouldn't find it so dandy either.

The last time I was groped it happened in broad daylight when I was waiting for J in front of a cafe. A dude came and grabbed my boob. I bitch slapped him across the face and was immediately incredibly shocked by my own reaction. I don't know where that came from, I never thought I'm one of those people who can hit a stranger. The dude went away real fast, though, so mission accomplished. :D

Good Lord, is this thread still going?

Breaking fingers is quite easy Elle...it's apologising afterwards that's the tricky bit

Michael, I find your assertion that 'many of the ones vehemently opposed [to groping] in this thread' actually fantasize about it...made me giggle. Jaysus, were you flaming or being serious? I'm not sure what worries me more...

There may be a few women who have that fantasy, and all power to them. To reiterate on my behalf; nope, non, nada, niet, nein, never had that fantasy.

I saw a guy on the train yesterday and he just gave me that look as we were standing in a packed carriage, you know, the one that peeks directly inside your head? And I swear to god if he had told me to get off at the next stop it would have taken all my willpower to call my OH and refuse (politely of course, I'm not a heathen.)

At absolutely no point in time did I think, 'You know what I want him to do? I want him to walk up behind me and place his fingers, unrequested, on my butt/up my skirt/on my breasts and squeeze/grope/fondle.' If he had tried, he would have been slapped so hard his head would have spun.

I say again...ewwwwww....

You can FANTASISE what you like. No one else has any say about that. But you are right, no groping or fondling of me, thank you:rose: I am here for friendship and any encouragement of anything else would by outside my relationship boundaries. :). I am only here for friendship and learning. :).

A 'winking' emoticon after 'groping' might have made myself better understood. I had no intentions of doing that. I was kidding. Maybe I shouldn't even be kidding; it is a serious issue. And yes, the recent Taylor Swift incident, as well as those fucking Indian guys on the public transport and what they did to that young girl highlights the seriousness of it all.

As to whether the OP meant more than fantasy, who knows. Has he returned?

Was I flaming? Not sure. I will let others decide.

My original post was to consider the (perhaps) positive side of the issue instead of seeing it from a purely negative perspective. I didn't set out to negate those women's reactions in the slightest. But I caught flak for even suggesting it as a positive 'fantasy' - one that goes on inside your head.

And Gianbattista, you know you are perfectly safe here, right? As I feel I am!
:)

OK so I hesitated to contribute this, but here it is. I have non-consent fantasies. In fact the that's the majority of my fantasies. What I mean by fantasy is not something I want to experience, but how I get off when I'm by myself. Yet still those fantasies never includes being groped in public by strangers. The thought of that is just disgusting and violating. And my fantasies involve being violated.

I'm not saying it's impossible for a woman to have that as a fantasy, but...well I don't.

I hesitated too!

self contradicted by...

Why is this not included? By your definition (and others) it is non-consensual groping.

What I mean by fantasy is not something I want to experience, but how I get off when I'm by myself.

Agreed!

I'm not saying it's impossible for a woman to have that as a fantasy, but...well I don't.

Fine...different strokes for different folks.
You may leave now.

I have made my point too, and I'd rather see posts from women who do have those fantasies, because they definitely are out there, somewhere, maybe on that other thread that was mentioned about being groped on trains...

And WHERE IS the OP to support his thread?
