There is no sound sweeter in the world then a woman moaning in the throes of passion. But , is it possible to not to moan? I would never in a million years want this to happen, but I was having sex years back with a girl and a girl was sleeping on the bunk above us. We wanted to have sex very badly so we did it as quiet as possible. Everything was fine, we found a way to make the matress not squeak and all that, but her moans failed us.

So,
we both wanted an orgasm and great fun havin sex
she didn't want to get caught having sex by her roommate
but she couldnt stop moaning even though she didnt want to get caught.
----

She actually wanted her roommate to hear and that turned her on?

The female orgasm is such a full body experience that she couldn't help making those sweet sweet noises?

Can ye ladies have a totally silent one?

I can by myself, but not with a partner.

Some can, some can't. Personally I can but I prefer not to as it requires me to think way to much about supressing the noise and I lose out on the total body feeling of a great orgasm.

I usually can if I am alone...

with a partner though I don't think I could...I tend to be kinda loud.

Sometimes, depending on the type of orgasm and my mood that day. I somehow have a harder time not moaning when I am alone....

When I'm masturbating in my dorm room at night and my roomie's sleeping, you'd better believe I can orgasm without moaning! When I'm with my boyfriend, though, I'm a bit more vocal, but compared to most women, I think I'm still pretty quiet.

If I think about it, I can do it... but who's thinking at that moment???? I have wound up yelling into a pillow tho...lol :cathappy:

From "GuyQ' by Joe Kita and the editor's of "Men's Health":

"Tell If She's Faking" (page 123)

"The most important thing to know about a woman's orgasm is this: If she screams during the middle of it, she's faking. Here's why: While climaxing, it's nearly impossible to exhale. The female orgasm is not an explosion of endorphins and genital juices. It's an implosion. She'll draw her breath, tighten her muscles, suck every scrap of energy and sensation into the tiny nut core of her being and then give way exquisitely, the flow of goodness spreading up her chest and down her legs like someone's kicked over a can of red paint. Afterward, she might sigh, pant, or moan. But scream? Never."

At least that's how every single woman that I'VE been with has had an orgasm... *shrugs*

During SEX most women will moan and scream, but not during a REAL ORGASM... I think that that is one of the downsides of porn- Many men (AND women) think that sex can't possibly be good unless you make her SCREAM... Just remember this: Every time that you see a women in a porno screaming DURING orgasm, she's faking it.

Granted, there ARE women who DO scream while in the midst of orgasm, but they're rare (there's ALWAYS going to be an exception to every rule).

Now for the advice: If your woman is moaning and screaming too much during sex, recommend to her that she pay very close attention to how she BREATHES... Suggest to her that she make a conscious effort to breath through her nose, and NOT through her mouth... That just might help cut down on the noise.

I really hate sceaing into a pillow... I guess because I have feather ones and I feel like I'm going to inhale all the feathers and choke...

I'm one of those rare women that is naturally silent when I orgasm. I actually have to think about it if I feel like making noise. Usually when I'm with my husband I'll moan, and it benefits both of us. When I masturbate, however, heavy breathing is about as loud as it gets.

wow! impressive. I wish I had the silent genes

I'm normally very quiet also. I started masturbating VERY young though, so it was a necessity, guess I never outgrew it.

While the 'silent genes' do come in handy from time to time (i.e. stealth sex when we're staying over someone else's house)... having to actually think about making noise during sex can be distracting. It's more of a habit now, but when I first started having sex it actually prevented me from cumming a few times - I was too worried about sounding 'normal' and making my lover happy. Weird, eh?

I'm another vote for "yes if I'm alone, no if I'm with a partner".

hahah i dont think Rydia57 could be quiet, it would be too much. plus she sounds so good :nana:

I'm very quiet though I do moan occassionally. I've had lovers in the past concerned about the lack of noise and just told them it's how I am. The really good orgasms knock my breath away and there's noise building up to it but once it hit's it is silent.

I guess you never had to screw your girlfriend with your parents or your room mate next door.

When the passion is there and you just need to have it, yes I can be quiet as a mouse. However it is hard, so very hard not to moan. I am louder then most women. I find that being vocal in my love making increases the sensations of my body.

I just think I get too loud. I mean my poor neighbors give me odd looks some mornings. I always think guys assume I'm faking it because I get really loud, when I'm a pretty quiet person out side the bedroom.

If I'm alone, I never make any noise. If someone else is sleeping in the same room, we don't. Otherwise, I let 'er rip. Sometimes my husband avoids licking me out if the bedroom window is open because I come really hard from that, and I think he's worried the neighbors will hear me. When it's happening, I don't give a damn.

I was with a man once who demanded I stay silent thru the entire act. With my eyes wide open looking in to his. It was the most erotic thing in the world..........

I agree!

And I just read Phoenix's post about how a woman NEVER screams when she orgasms... thank god you specified there were exceptions! I mean, some men grunt, some are silent, some scream or talk when they cum... aren't women the same? I moan and sometimes scream during my orgasms even though I can be quiet if need be.
