Just finished Patrick rothfuss first 2 books in series that starts with name of the wind. Very good. Hopefully #3 comes this fall. Read most of RA Salvatore books. Jim Butcher Dresden files still a favorite of mine as well. So much good anime/shows/movies to list. I found first half of the last witcher season frustrating, as I thought the monster fights weren't as good as first 2 seasons. I must ask though, why they insist on redoing great works as live action when the cartoons were great, other than North Americans have traditionally had a mindset cartoons are only for kids. Even if the live action is good, why tell the same story over and over especially if the cartoon was good to begin with?

Jim Butcher is one of my all time favorite authors! Up there with Sir Terry Prachett, Robert Jordan, and Tolkien

My favorite all time games are Half Life, Skyrim, the Bioshock series, KOTOR, and Dishonored series. It’s been a while since I’ve played anything.

I love reading, it would be hard to narrow down a favorite lately as I read/listen to about 200 books a year. Nothing More Dangerous stands out in my mind presently. My all time favorite is the Lord of the Rings book series as I always could get lost in that world. I also love the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, the Dune series, and most thriller/crime novels.

I am just about to finish the latest Witcher season. I am a huge Henry Cavill fan, so I am not wanting to complete them and watch him go.

Elsewise, my favorite series all time is Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly
Firefly. I need to rewatch the series. I rewatch it every year or so

Okay I can not believe i didn’t know the Dresden Files is actually a book series. This is fantastic. My Libby list is about to fill.
Yeah that made a shitty tv series. Books are such a great read!! He also has a fantasy series that is very well written too!

I didn’t mind the series, honestly. But if the series was shitty to you then that must mean the books are fantastic.
Yea books are fantastic!! Urban fantasy. Jim butcher is a talented author and story teller. Once you read the books you will understand my distaste for the show. Okay the show wasn’t horrible. But a lot was lost in translation. Butcher was very unhappy when it was done.

The other butcher series was done well too I found. I think it was codex alera. Different take on magic than most. I liked aeronauts windlass but I think I read it too close to one of the Dresden books and it was such a different concept that I didn't appreciate it like I should of

Codex Alera sounds right. Yes I loved the take on magic. The aeronautics never really caught my attention.

I've been catching up on Kurt Vonnegut, the stuff that they didn't ask you to read for literature class.

If we're talking books, can I recommend the Thursday Next books from Jasper Fforde (starts with The Eyre Affair)? Actually, even if you say no I'm going to. I really can't recommend them highly enough...

If you like Douglas Adams' skewed outlook on the mundane, you'll probably feel very at home with them

I've heard nothing but good things about Baldurs Gate 3 and it's making me wanna spend money...

Tell me the bad stuff
A lot of character options (classes, archetypes, spells, feats etc. ) from the various WotC books aren't included. I know, DLC, but I fear WotC involvement will ask an arm and a leg for DLC, or worse, microtransactions. That's really all I can say that's negative about it.

They have promised to never have micro transactions. Also no plans on any dlc
