Ah, I remember Magic...
I quit buying after Tempest, and finally stopped playing after the Urza's bullshit saga.
I mean, come on.
There are cards that win games for you.
Not by dealing damage, or decking your opponent, but just because they say so.

thanks, LOTR is what got me into it in the first place. I just happened into a GW store and boom....bought the boxed set. Only problem was I didn't have anyone to play with....

Now that was pure BULLSHIT.
However it has gotten much better. And the last few sets have been really balanced. White's a little overpowered this block but at least there is no more Morphling.

the creatures have finally balanced out...especially with things like affinity...my dragon deck centers around my 2 Draco cards, 9/9 artifact creatures with a 10 casting cost, but with affinity for land

I know I'm interested in hearing from all of the big three, the Sony conference starts in about 1 1/2 hours, and tommorow Microsoft and Nintendo have theirs...
I'm REALLY hoping to hear about some Halo 3 goodness (even though I haven't bought halo 2 yet, or played it for that matter), and we had BETTER hear about a PS3 controller redesign! (god that things ugly), I'm also curious to find out if we'll hear some solid info on release and pricing for the PS3...

I actually just checked with my boss and there their may be hope Obi Wan. I'll know more later. We do auto shows all the time, so mayeb we'll do the electronics show. Keep the fingers crossed.

Michael Moorcock (no pun in the name) is a great read. The Chronicls of Elric of Meliboné is a GREAT 6 book series.
