Geeks for Geeks...

Silmarillion is a better book than LotR, but it's a longer read because it's confusing

I picked up Advent Children last weekend, it's out in stores now, just haven't gotten around to watching it yet.

I liked V for Vendetta very much. X-Men looks very promising, rawr.

Can Advent Children be rented? At Blockbusters maybe?

It's official folks!

The boomerang PS3 controller is dead! :D

look framiliar?

It's the PS2 controller with embedded X, Y, and Z axis motion sensors....

(seems like M$ is the only one on the block without motion sensing controllers now...)

As well, pricing and availabilty was announced, release day will be November 17, at a price of $499 for the 20Gb version and $599 for the 60Gb....

So geeks, what are your thoughts?

eep....my reservation of it is going to take longer to pay off than i thought it would

Ouch, $600? Maybe I'll just buy the 20 Gb version and wait until people have figured out how to put a larger HD in it :)

uh. Sort of. Working at ball buster right now. We got three copies in. Three. I have had since april 25th, 217 requests for it. It is never in. I have seen one copy be returned and it was gone in less than 15 seconds of my noticing it.

So you sort of can.

hmmm.... I have to say, you've lost me on some of these topics... but I'm more of a classical geek that watches Discovery Channel and reads a lot!

:p Takes all types!
I dare say we are on the cusp of a geek renaissance.
Video games are in a golden age, table top RPGs have survived, and reading isn't as 'uncool' as it was. We'll have our day. Soon.

Cry Havoc, and loose the geeks of Lit!

"the geeks shall inherit the earth"

what the hell did we do to deserve that? lol
