Most definatly a geek here! Tabletop games, fantasy lit and films. Lack of any RPG experience... that mean I fail the geek test? Oh and of course the well known series such as firefly, stargate, smallville. Got all series so far. :D

Opens Hailing Frequencies...

Greetings fellow geeks! Sci-Fi guru here with emphasis on Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, et al as well as miniature games and CCG's. (If that doesn't make you a nerd, knowing what CCG stands for does.)

uh. Sort of. Working at ball buster right now. We got three copies in. Three. I have had since april 25th, 217 requests for it. It is never in. I have seen one copy be returned and it was gone in less than 15 seconds of my noticing it.

So you sort of can.

Gad! Sounds like I have no choice but to stop scraping for the sound card and CDRW, and get that disk! Or... cross my fingers and mybe by Christmas, it'll cost 15!

Ya know, every time this thread seems to die, another comes forward to bump it. Hiya, new people!

I don't like to think of it as a dead thread, just quiet til someone starts a new geek talk or bumps it. I did it up the way I do the old "Geeks Unite" thread on the General Board. Thank you for the bump Cleric.... you're a good geek....
K'plah! :rose:

Hi everybody!

I'm a little new to the boards. I'll admit to being a bit geeky. I enjoy some sci-fi like the new Battlestar Galactica series. I'm also addicted to Lost...and 24 is really good this season. I love to make people laugh and smile. Playing guitar is one of my favorite things. And since I'm on this board, I suppose you could assume that I'm horny (who here isn't) or think about sex (it's not called squeakyclean.com).

Other than being a little qirky and silly, I'm a fairly normal straight guy living in Charlotte, NC. I'm 27, white, slim, blue eyes, and dark brown hair. If you'd like to talk, feel free to send me a message. :)

Why does it seem like all the Geeks are in Canada or on the other side of the country.. Pfft.

Welcome to Lit, Limely!

:)

Enjoy yourself here.

Thanks, that's actually one of the nicest things I've ever heard...
*Sniffle*

And May, I'm on the right side of the border, and the pond!
Perhaps geeking isn't as popular, here in the states.

As much as I appreciate the Sci-Fi channel for showing such great sci-fi shows like the X-files and Battlestar Galactica (and one day they ran a Firefly marathon that I watched at work :) ), I don't know if I can ever forgive them for not at least showing reruns of Farscape. Missing Farscape has now made me feel sad inside :(

Also, I have to read this thread more often. Every time I go away and then try to come back, its buried deep within the bowels of the Lit boards.

they used to show every episode of Farscape...and i heard there's a movie being made <<

Ahh.. Advent child. Very cool film, if nothing else to watch Cloud go mental with the swords. ^_^

Farscape, ooo not watched that in ages; though I watched parts of it. I think I got random orders *shrugs* I loved the Firefly weekend on the sci-fi, is a shame the series was cancelled only fourteen episodes in or so.

or in my case, to watch Tifa's boobies bouncing <<

How on earth Tifa manages to have knockers of that mass without breaking her neck is amazing, never mind the martial arts...

Must be some anti grav materia...
