many years ago at this point while working on a job site, a razor knife slipped and sliced through my forearm all the way to the bone. the moment i realized what had happened i wrapped my hand around the wound and raised the arm above my head. i calmly walked over to a few of the other guys on the job and said that i needed a towel and a ride to the hospital. the accident resulted in 26 stitches and a three inch scar on my wrist. i was fired from that job for misusing the knife and liability reasons. the moment stands out because of the vivid lasting memory, the scar i bear and see everyday, and because of the many lessons i learned. amoung those being that i am not cut out for every job, that life will put you in situations where either you survive or you dont, and that all decision whether conscious or not have consequences. i hope this wasnt too deep or too long of an answer.
