Well, since I was asked I suppose it's only right to answer.
Films? Star Wars. The OT. They take me back to the whimsy of childhood and always take my mind off my woes.
Books? The works of Brian Jacques. I read a bunch of them when I was young, and they are fun to revisit. He also spends too much time describing food and feasts, so he hits my vice.
Games? Sorry. Few things will put a smile on my face faster than a simple game of Sorry. It can bring out the competitive side, but tends to always end in silliness, as such things should.
