At a first glance, it's probably more about taking in the general "masculine" features and proportions. The harmony and attractiveness of the whole.
Only then , depending on the person, something particular draws me in.
The look in their eyes, their demeanor, or a particular body feature... I generally like a muscular man, but I am not exclusively attracted to one particular body type.

A bright , witty, quick mind, sense of humour and a great smile are probably what has me hooked.

No, I never had to resort to blunt words to let someone know I was interested.
If someone interests me I am generally pretty flirty… if my cues are not picked up, and if I do not detect any sign of reciprocation, interest or lust I let go.
