The problem we have here is that CNN and most of the MSM ARE fake news, and most of the talking heads suddenly speaking out about Ukraine are the bleating RINO's and quislings that we have long ignored or regarded as traitors. Them coming out in support of Zelensky and Ukraine is actually counter-productive, in that it simply cements support for Trump's position on Ukraine amongst many Republican voters, who have long regarded CNN as the Mother of Lies.

While there is GOP support for Ukraine, Trump is on a roll and it seems Tucker Carlson has captured him with his pro-Russian propaganda on the Russian invasion of Ukraine. To say this was Ukraine's fault is nonsensical, but Trump is out on his own on this one. The best thing now is to let him rant and rave, and more or less ignore him until reality sinks in. We can only for Ukraine's sake that Europe steps up to the plate and steps up fast. At this point that may mean the EU fronting up and paying for US military equipment and ammo for Ukraine, as well as radically stepping up their own efforts to go thru their equipment and handover every thing they can to Ukraine.

All these professions of support are so much crap unless countries actually step up in reality. Canada and Australia are prime examples of this. It would take a day for Canada to step up and say to the US "We'll buy 500 Bradley's and pay for refurbishing them and move them to Ukraine." They can't even agree to refurbish their old M113's and send then to Ukraine. Pathetique to an extreme. As for the UK, there's 300 old Chieftains in Jordan just begging for a deal. And what has Canada or the UK done to step up 155mm ammo production. Diddly squat. I could come up with example after example. Everyone has relied on the US and now Trump is saying enouygh is enough. He warned them back when he was 45. Now the chickens have come home to roost.

I don't agree at all with his attitude to Ukraine, but it sure is what is needed to get the Europeans to take this seriously.

That said too, if Europe buckles down, Ukraine CAN go on without the USA. They did it for 6 months under Biden after all, and Trump will soon reach the FO stage of FAFO. Putin has fought on to this stage in the hope that Trumo will pull his chestnuts out of the fire, but that ain't happening.
