I am sorry for going nuts on you in that other thread. I should not have done so. You do what you will do and that's none of my affair. I apologize for attacking. you such as I did It doesn't make it right and it doesn't make it go away. But I am still sorry I did it--not because I've been hurt by it, but because I cause you some pain, probably just frustration or something, but that's still not something I should be doing.

Secondly, I wanted to let you know that I didn't call your pain "whatever" to dismiss it or diminish it. I just couldn't think of another word to use to describe it at the time. I consider that part of your life to be personal information and not something I should repeat on a public board. You can't edit my posts and I wanted to respect your privacy. I didn't mean to disrespect you, even though I did. I'm sorry for that, too.

And there you have it.

A perfect example here of.......

Class.

That's the line the separates people. KillerMuffin could have said nothing and left things the way the were. She could have posted on the original thread but she didn't.

She made a separate post, addressed to Freya in order to apologize for her comments.

Something the board has been lacking for several months. Several months.

Ishmael

What class do you refer to Ish?

It's always been Sophmoric here at best...

Every morning I get on and the night shift threads confirm that fact.

Umm...wha?

If a poster attacked me on one thread, then started another thread with my username in the title, I certainly wouldn't be interested in opening the new thread, and I would have no idea how much class that poster had.

Will Freya2 open this thread, or will someone need to steer her to it first?

All things are relative Bro.

Well, this morning certainly was that way. But then, Lance posts during the day too.

As far as class goes, there are only two people who posted on this mess that really showed it last night, JazzManJim and Freya2.

JMJ has taken shots at Lance before and Lance said something back. Was Lance's comment nice, no it wasn't. But JMJ handled it like an adult. Specifically, he didn't endorse Lav's attempt to turn the board against Lance. That's class.

Freya2 demonstrated a hell of a lot of class despite being attacked by most of the people on the board. She stood up for her principles and while she didn't like Lance's comment either, she defended her right to be friends with whomever she chooses (not that she should have to). And she did it in a calm, rational manner. That's class.

KM had no business going after Freya2 last night. Both KM and Lav used Lance's comment as a means to address old grudges that they had with Lance. I have seen KM cut people up on more than one occasion. But this concept of enforced groupthink that they are trying to promote is both hypocritical and childish. People should be free to be friends with whoever they want. JMJ is a pretty good guy, as most people here would agree. But he never asked for them to make this into such a big issue. While I like KM and Lav, I think they were wrong.

KM apologizing was the right thing to do, and had she apologized for using the situation last night as a way to get back at Lance, and not just for her attack on Freya2, then that would have been class. JMHO!

This is what seperates KM from others on the board. Class and the ability to admit when she's wrong.

?????????????????????????????

Oh, nevermind, I read your post.

I disagree that Muffin used Jim in any way. That's not her style. She just went overboard on Freya and apologized for it. Where is the wrong in that?

I'm sorry I didn't realise forgivness was confusing.

You have a problem with that? I don't see why.

As far as your statement that KM demonstrated class, I believe I addressed that in my post.

The question marks were used to indicate my confusion as to who you were referring to that should have admitted that they were wrong.

I got a PM the other day that said Sunstruck is a fucking idiot.
I'm beginning to agree.

This may not be the best place to say this but here goes.

Freya, my sypmpathies to you and your family on the loss of your father.:rose:

I lost my mother in July of this year.

In some strange way perhaps all the posting and devotion to this board is helping you deal with your loss, in a distraction sort of way. Dealing with grief is one thing, but there is also a lot to be said for being distracted during a time such as you are experiencing now.

Like I said this may not be the place, but I wanted to express my concern and my sympathies to you.

It does get better........

Killswitch

That's what I like about KillerMuffin as well...she plays to win and if necessary will fight to the death, but if she commits a foul in the process, she'll raise her hand when the whistle blows.

Nicely done, Muff.

Lance

I didn't think I was that harsh to Freya but I apoligize if anything I said hurt. I did not know about your father and would probably have toned it down some if I had known.

Wasn't thinking about anyone in particular, but it happens here all the time.

I think you're making more out of my statement than intended in the words.

When I'm talking about someone I use their name. Anyone who thinks otherwise is paranoid.
